Abstract: Factors of labor, working time and
workload affect the productivity of an industrial enterprise. Based on these
issues, this study aims to establish standard times, worker workloads and the
optimal number of workers in the PCDTO-IQF Shrimp production section at PT.
Indo American Seafoods using the Stopwatch Time Study method. Research data are
obtained directly by measuring the working time in the production department
using a stopwatch instrument. The results of the study obtained the total standard
time required for the production of PCDTO-IQF Shrimp of 17,089.83 seconds or
4.75 hours. The workload for the production process has 29 processes, there are
11 processes have a workload of more than 100% or normal workload, the rest
have a normal workload. Based on these findings, it is recommended that
companies increase the number of workers for excess workload and reduce or
transfer labor in parts with low workload to other parts that require more
manpower.
